This program is available to any New Hampshire resident and can result in significant savings on prescription medications, a valuable benefit to those on higher deductible health plans or without a prescription drug benefit. 1. What is the New Hampshire Rx Card?
New Hampshire Rx Card is a FREE statewide discount prescription assistance program. The program was launched to help uninsured and underinsured residents afford their prescriptions.

2. Who is eligible to participate in the New Hampshire Rx Card program?
Every resident of New Hampshire, including all employees of BIA members, is eligible to receive a FREE prescription drug card.

3. How do employees of BIA members get a New Hampshire Rx Card?
Employees of BIA members can print a card by visiting the website www.NHRxCard.com. There will also be distribution sites set up across the state where residents can obtain a free card. Anyone not able to print, or otherwise obtain a card, can simply visit any Shaw's Osco Pharmacy in New Hampshire and ask the pharmacist to have the prescription processed through the New Hampshire Rx Card program.

4. How can New Hampshire Rx Card provide free cards to employees of BIA members?
This statewide prescription assistance program is made possible and funded through the support of pharmacies and pharmaceutical companies.

5. Can this program be used by people who have insurance with prescription benefits?
This program was launched to help the uninsured people of New Hampshire afford their prescriptions. However, people with insurance can also use New Hampshire Rx Card to get a discount on non-formulary medications (drugs that are not covered by their insurance).

This program has a "LOWEST PRICE" feature that provides cardholders the lowest plan price on prescriptions at participating pharmacies (medication pricing/discounts are calculated on the plan's lowest negotiated contract price and the pharmacy's "usual and customary" price).
